Steve posed the questions:-
Is it fair to say that alongside Everton, Middlesbrough are probably the most improved side in the Premiership this season? What do you feel has made the difference?
Boro's start to the season has certainly been a nice surprise, especially after the pre-season injury to Juninho. Steve McClaren's signings have proved to be quality, building on last seasons solid defence. As for Everton, they have sneaked into good position while all the hype and media attention is focused on Wayne Rooney.
Both Chelsea and Middlesbrough have excellent defensive records so far this season. With this in mind what type of game are we likely to witness this Saturday? Perhaps both clubs will throw caution to the wind? Is it likely........?
It will be tight, but Zola is on fire and Boro have been scoring goals from every position, so a high scoring draw is a possibility.
Transfer speculation throughout the summer heavily linked Chelsea with Maccarone (is that the correct spelling?) what have we missed out on?
Although he started well he has disappointed if few games lately, he is still a great assett to the club and I am sure we have not seen the best yet, he is still only 23.
What are Middlesbrough’s priorities this season?
At the start of the season our priority was to improve on last seasons finish, but after the start we have had we could seriously be challenging for a European place come May.
Chelsea can be proud of their “little wizard” Zola but when can we expect to see your little genius “Juninho” back in the ‘Boro red?
The Little Fella is currently convalescing in Brazil and is not due back to training until the New Year, fingers crossed he could be back playing before Easter.
How do you the ‘Boro fans feel towards Roberto Di Matteo? Are we your cup final bogey team?
Any team in blue is our Cup Final bogie team, Di Matteo is not particularly liked around these parts, although no more than any other Chelsea player. Sorry to say Chelsea in general are not liked due to the goings on at the play-off final back in 1988.
Who do you feel will be your key players this weekend? Who should Chelsea really fear?
The whole of the midfield has been playing well, with Jonathan Greening, George Boateng and Geremi all making massive contributions to Boro's current form. Defensively we are solid while the man to watch has got to be Massimo Maccarone, he is due a good game.
Are there any injuries/team news we should know about?
Tony Vidmar and Stuart Parnaby should continue as full backs ahead of Robbie Stockdale and Franck Queudrue.
Your match prediction?
I'd be happy with a draw and seriously think we can get one, 2-2.
May the best team win (or draw).

Reggie
