"When you play and spend a lot of psychological energy in the Champions League it is not easy to play from the start and play well," said Ranieri.
"Bolton started very well and every long ball was dangerous but I think Marco Ambrosio made a fantastic save.
"The first half was very difficult because Bolton were better than us.
"It was strange for us because we have good organisation but in the second half we played better, were more compact and we started to play, we played the football on the floor."
