Ancelotti starts at Chelsea on July 6

Carlo Ancelotti will become Chelsea's manager officially on July 6.
Ancelotti leaves AC Milan today as soon as his side finishes their final league match against Fiorentina.
Chelsea will eventually get round to announcing his arrival at SW6 sometime, but no need to be worried by their silence, Ancelotti is coming to England and to London and will replace Guus Hiddink who left yesterday.
Ancelotti has being learning some English for the past two months.
It's believed as soon as Hiddink was in place, that he was earmarked by the Chelsea top brass as the man to deliver a Champions League title.
Ancelotti is 49, his date of birth is June 10, 1959 - a good year that, in Reggiolo, Italy.

He was a midfielder for Parma, Roma and AC Milan. he also managed Reggiana, Parma, Juventus and AC Milan. He played 26 times for the national side.

He comes to Chelsea because he has won domestic titles but also the Champions League with AC Milan in 2004 and 2007. He also knows how to lose a Champions League title after going 3-0 up. That happened against Liverpool in 2005.

He defeated Liverpool in 2007 to get the title for a second time.
His playing record is impressive. His manager's record is impressive.
But managing Chelsea and to be successful will require credentials that go beyond the mere impressive - he will need to be a combination of Jose Mourinho, Guus Hiddink and Roman Abramovich. Talented, diplomatic and ruthless in ambition to succeed.
Welcome to Chelsea, Carlo and good luck - you will need it.
