Blues Bid For Johnson

Newspaper reports suggest that the bid could be worth up to £6 million, although that seems a bit far fetched when you consider that Johnson has just 4 months of first team experience.

The 18 year old was thrown in at the deep end in January of this year, making his debut against Blackburn and then retaining his place for the duration of the season.

There is also talk that the Blues could sign Johnson and then immediately loan him back to West Ham for the upcoming season.

However, at this point in time Chelsea will only admit to having the bid accepted- no further comments have been made so far.
