Inter president Massimo Moratti revealed "One month ago in our meeting with Roman Abramovich in Italy he asked us for several Internazionale players including Crespo. However we replied that our players were not for sale. Since then we have not had any contacts with the English club."

And this point was re-emphasised by Inter director of sport Marco Branca. He added "Crespo will remain at Inter, we are not willing to sell the player, he is an important player in our team."

So, that's a no to Crepso then is it?? Somehow, I don't think we've heard the end of this...
