Carlo Not Suspended

The FA disciplinary committee has decided to uphold Carlo Cudicini's sending off against Middlesbrough, but decided the red card was punishment enough and he will not need to serve a ban.

The red card will also not count in the event of any further sending offs, meaning no extra suspension will be added on.

Chief Executive Trevor Birch said: "We are delighted that Carlo is not suspended, but a little disappointed that the red card wasn't withdrawn altogether."

Carlo would have missed the games at Manchester United, Shrewsbury and at home to Leeds had he lost his appeal.
