Carvalho Signs!

Chelsea have yet to disclose how much they have paid for the 26 year old, but reports suggest the fee to be just under £20 million! He joins Arjen Robben (£12million), Petr Cech (£9million), Paolo Ferreira (£13million), Tiago (£8million), Mateja Kezman (£6million) and Didier Drogba (£24million) as our summer recruits. This summer's transfer activity has taken Roman Abramovich's overall expenditure on players to around £210 million!
Carvalho was a mainstay in Mourinho's all conquering Porto side, and has also secured a place in the Portugal starting XI. He was a key player as the Portugese reached the Euro 2004 final only to lose out to Greece.
Chelsea will announce the official fee for the player to the Stock Market tomorrow.
