Jose Mourinho will use the Champions league defeat as an inspirational tool to motivate his squad for the challenges next season.
Premiership and Carling Cup winners Chelsea lost in the Champions League to Liverpool over the two leg semi-final.
But the boss warned the opposition that they will be coming out all guns blazing next season.
Speaking ahead of tonight's league clash at Old Trafford, Mourinho said: "I think you always have to look for motivation in every corner.
"The negative side is that we lost against Liverpool, we are not going to Istanbul and we cannot fight in that final.
"But the good side is that I can use it as an extra motivation for next season. "I was saying to my staff a couple of days ago - we have won the Premiership but we are not 100% happy because we lost the Champions League semi-final.
"That's my nature and the players are the same. Next pre-season, I will have to see but normally I know which of them have the ambition and desire to win it again as I have worked with them for one year.
"What would make me happy is to win everything. If you lose something, you are not 100% happy. You ask me if I am happy. Well, yes, I am happy, but not 100%."
