Chelsea have added a post-season friendly in the Republic of Korea after winning the Premiership title.
The match, planned for May 20, will be against the Asian champions, the Suwon Bluewings, who are owned by Chelsea's new club sponsors Samsung Electronics.
A Chelsea spokesman said: "We are delighted to be visiting Asia so soon after partnering with Samsung. The manager is very happy with the idea and so are the players. They are looking forward to visiting Korea.
"An opportunity has arisen for us to organise the visit, and this is an
initiative that has been driven by Chelsea. The match is not part of any
contractual obligation. It gives the club an early chance to build the global
relationship with Samsung and with the public in this part of Asia which is an
important area of development for us. Naturally we contacted Samsung to help arrange the visit and they were very happy to help."
Let's have no complaints from the club that the team are tired then, eh!
