But the league now appears beyond Chelsea as Man City and Liverpool trade blows at the top of the table, which could see the FA Cup take on greater importance inside Stamford Bridge.

Here's how the Blues could line up.

Kepa Arrizabalaga (GK) - The Spaniard has performed commendably in the absence of Edouard Mendy.

Cesar Azpilicueta (RB) - Doesn't offer the same attacking threat as Reece James, but his deliveries from deep are still dangerous.

Andreas Christensen (CB) - The Denmark international is likely to return to the side after missing out in recent weeks through Covid-19.

Malang Sarr (CB) - Drafted into the team in recent weeks and his comfort in possession has been a huge boost for Tuchel.

Marcos Alonso (LB) - A mixed bag of performances since he was thrust into the team following Ben Chilwell's season-ending injury.

2. Midfielders

Callum Hudson-Odoi (RM) - Quick, direct and his end product is improving each passing week.

Jorginho (CM) - The control in which the Italian brings in midfield will be vital against lower league opponents.

Saul Niguez (CM) - Has endured a turbulent settling in period after arriving from Atletico Madrid on loan in the summer.

Christian Pulisic (LM) - Can often cut a frustrated figure on the pitch, guilty of drifting out of games at crucial periods. Played for the USMNT in midweek and probably won't play the full 90.

3. Forwards
