Chelsea host Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon for Graham Potter's first Premier League home match in charge of the Blues.
The club's last 15 managers - including those in an interim and caretaker role - have avoided defeat during their maiden league bow at Stamford Bridge. Gianluca Vialli was the most recent permanent Chelsea boss to lose his first Premier League home game all the way back in 1998.
Here's the lineup Potter may deploy to get off to a strong start on home turf.
1. Chelsea XI (3-4-2-1)
GK: Kepa Arrizabalaga - Potter has insisted he is "in no rush to label anybody one or two", which may allow Kepa to retain his spot between the sticks even though Edouard Mendy is fit again.
CB: Trevoh Chalobah - Wesley Fofana's injury was the "one disappointing thing" about Chelsea's comfortable victory over Milan on Wednesday night according to Potter. Chalobah replaced the Frenchman in midweek and may do so again from the off on Saturday.
CB: Thiago Silva - A fan of the proverb: “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together,” Silva can't go anywhere that fast at 38 but relies on his preternatural positioning to avoid breaking into a sprint.
CB: Kalidou Koulibaly - The tales of Koulibaly's generosity are legendary, with the former Napoli defender handing out winter coats to homeless people one of many examples.
RWB: Reece James - A future "Chelsea legend" according to his new manager has surely done enough to keep his spot for this weekend and the foreseeable future.
CM: Jorginho - The Italy international has the viral video of his mother gushing over his Chelsea shirt in the club shop saved on his phone for repeat viewings.
CM: Mateo Kovacic - The silky midfielder has only ever scored four goals for the Blues but became the youngest goalscorer in the history of the Croatian top flight when he found the net as a 16-year-old for Dinamo Zagreb.
LWB: Ben Chilwell - On Chelsea's last Premier League outing at Stamford Bridge, Chilwell came off the bench to nab a goal and an assist against West Ham - an impact which has seen him start all three of Potter's matches thus far.
RF: Mason Mount - The only direct free-kick Mount has successfully converted in the Premier League came against Wolves in July 2020.
LF: Raheem Sterling - The new bright blue boots Sterling will be sporting this weekend are a nod to his childhood spent riding three buses to training with his big sister Lakima.
ST: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - Potter described the way Aubameyang has dealt with a “difficult summer” - which included getting his jaw broken during a home robbery - as “A1”.
