But Carlton is taking nothing for granted! He revealed "Villa have been top-drawer towards me and I want to score the goals they need. Hopefully I can get the goals target I've set myself although I'm keeping that to myself.
"But my heart is always going to be at Chelsea. I'll never forget Chelsea. That's where I grew up. For now I've got to forget about Chelsea and concentrate on Villa, who are the main club for me at the moment.
"I wouldn't mind going somewhere to settle down if Chelsea don't want me. If Chelsea still want me, I can only say I'll be a Chelsea player because Chelsea is always going to be my main priority.
"The manager has told me he sees me in his plans. If I can score some goals, it will help with my progress. I'm 20. I haven't had the most experience but I've been to a few clubs to know what it is like in and around the Premier League.
"I now feel I need to give more now, go out there and score goals, stay away from injuries, and get everything right."
