Cole: I'm Loving It!

The former West Ham skipper has every reason to be enjoying his football at the moment, considering that he is actually starting some matches! Joe has actually started our last two Premiership games and played very well in both.

The next step: starting a European game.

Cole said "The manager picks the team, he's the boss and at the moment everything's going well. We're certainly all behind him. I'm happy with the way I played and the way I'm progressing - I nearly got 90 minutes.

"To play at such a high level at a demanding place like Everton is very pleasing. I'm still learning and I feel I'm getting better with every game now. I aim to keep playing the best I can and stick to my game, then it's down to the manager. But the main thing is that Chelsea win, whoever plays, as long as we keep on winning.

"We have to keep up there with Arsenal and Manchester United and then see where we are in a few months. I'm loving it. It's nice to be at the top end of the table which is a new experience for me. I'm enjoying everything.

"I would love to be playing in Rome against Lazio, but then every Chelsea player would say that. But we all have faith in the manager's ability to pick the right team to get the job done."

An English youngster with his head screwed on?? Who can accept being left out of the team? What's going on!
