He said "There's so much going on at Chelsea at the moment. They've strengthened up front and they're looking to buy another forward so it's best for me to join another club and show what I can do.
"I was really worried when the papers reported on all the new players Chelsea were signing. I wondered where I'd fit in and whether I'd get a chance this season. But the manager assured me that I'm still in his plans for the future and I believe him.
"He said I'm a part of Chelsea's future but he wants me to show what I can do in the Premiership with a move elsewhere.''
