Notts County come into today's game having spent the last 17 weeks in administration. Chelsea, on the other hand, have money to burn. And, as a goodwill gesture, the club have already offered to donate their signed shirts for Notts County to auction off.
And, as the away side, Notts County are legally entitled to 45% of the gate receipts. However, a consortium attempting to take over the club have revealed that they have written to Roman Abramovich to ask him to make it 90%!
Chelsea have also reduced ticket prices by around 50% but the promise of a strong side should see a good turn out tonight.
Claudio will be keen to see how some of his superstars cope tonight against what will certainly be a physical side.
And he has given away a few hints with regards the starting lineup: "We will show Notts County every respect and I will pick a team to win the match. He (Seba Veron) is working well now which wasn't happening after he had an ankle problem earlier in the season. I think he could be ready to go on now."
And Robert Huth declared: "I always want to play - and I want to play against Notts County."
Thanks for clearing that one up Robert!
For those of you thinking of coming to the game tonight, tickets are on sale until kick off, which is at 7:45pm. Tickets cost £20 for adults, £10 for juniors. And season ticket holders get in for free!
