Juve general manager Luciano Moggi came out with the revelations at a press conference which Juve had called to present new signing Stephen Appiah, who plays in Davids' position.
Moggi said "We have refused an offer from Chelsea which, I confirm, was made. Davids is part of the future of Juve."
And in a dig at new Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, Moggi quipped "If Abramovich offered the moon for him we would still not sell him."
Well that settles that- doesn't it???
It's thought in the Italian press that were Chelsea to up their offer significantly, it could tempt Juve to part With Davids. But just how much money would it take?
