De Goey Joins Stoke

De Goey was released by Chelsea at the end of last season, following six years at Stamford Bridge. During that time, de Goey was mainly the number one keeper until the latter years. Indeed, he won the European Cup Winners Cup, Coca Cola Cup, FA Cup, Charity Shield and European Super Cup during his time as Chelsea number one.
He also holds the record for most clean sheets in a season by a Chelsea keeper, a record which is likely to be intact for a while yet.
Ed signs a two year deal at the Britannia Stadium and we at Chelsea Mad are sure that he will be a success there...
