Chelsea offered assistant manager Roberto Di Matteo to give his views on his side's progress in the FA Cup as they beat Portsmouth 4-0 at Stamford Bridge.
"We want to win this competition," said the Italian. "And this win was a step towards that.
"It was a good all-round performance. It was difficult to break them down, but we were always confident we would do that.
"It was just a case of finding the spaces and making the chances.
"The four- nil score line was a bit harsh on Portsmouth."
Speaking about some of his players, Di Matteao added: "John Terry is fine."
The Chelsea skipper clattered into the post after clearing a Joel Ward header off the line.
Asked about his two-goal hero Ramires, Di Matteo said: "I particularly enjoyed his second goal."
Of the supposed arrival of Gary Cahill? "I don't know if the Cahill deal is done yet," he said.
And the possible loan of teenager Josh McEachran to Swansea City, Di Matteo was equally in the dark. "Josh is with us at the moment and we will see what happens in the next couple of weeks."
