The breakup of the back-to-back Premiership winners is getting closer by the day.
Didier Drogba, Hernan Crespo, William Gallas, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Ricardo Carvalho and Eidur Gudjohnsen all want away from the Stamford Bridge club.
Jose Mourinho issued a waring statement regarding Drogba's wish to ply his trade elsewhere: "He has two years left on his deal and we consider him to be not negotiable," said Mourinho. "He has no chance of leaving. He has to play for Chelsea.
"If he plays with happiness, fantastic, because we get the best of him. If not, he doesn't play. It's his problem."
Mourinho is fighting a desperate battle to keep major players at Chelsea.
He was prepared to release Crespo to go back to Italy, but only if they secured the services of Andriy Shevchenko.
Drogs and Jose on collision course
Mourinho added: "We would like to bring him, but he's a Milan player and he has a long-term contact with them.
"Milan have the power, like we have the power with Drogba and my feeling is that they don't want to sell and they will keep him.
"I like the player and I would like to have him - but a lot of clubs want Drogba and they can't have him."
Gallas has already stated his desire to move and rumblings of discontent have been heard from the likes of Carvalho who had a early season bust-up with Mourinho, Wright-Phillips, whose father Ian has been saying he should leave to play more and Gudjohnsen, unhappy at becoming a bit-player and a midfielder to boot.
