Didier Drogba has a few loose screws.
Well, not exactly but he will have six of them removed from his arm.
That means Drogba will miss Saturday’s match at Blackburn Rovers and will be available for the match against Liverpool on November 20 at Stamford Bridge.
He would not have played at Blackburn anyhow as he was suspended following his red card at QPR recently.
The club has decided to act now and get the surgery out of the way.
There is an international break the following week, allowing Drogba to fully recover in time to face the Reds.
Drogs fractured a bone in his elbow in 2010.
