The Iceland international, who has started six games this season has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge since the close season.
Gudjohnsen has today re-iterated his love for Chelsea and says he has no intention of quitting the capital and is close to re-writing his current deal.
He said: "Chelsea have been good to my family and me, I am very happy in London, and that's where I want to stay.
"It's flattering to see your name linked with other great clubs, but the truth is no one has spoken with the club or myself about my future, and now that we are close to signing an extension to my current deal, I think all the speculation will stop."
