Eidur has barely played this season since a pre-season injury left him lacking fitness.

HE is raring to go now but has the near impossible task of ousting the in-form front pair of Franco Zola and JFH. Yet despite the lack of first team action, Eidur wants to stay a Blue.

Eidur said, "I still have two years on my contract after this season and I do not think I will be moving anywhere.

"Sometimes you get frustrated when you don't start many games, everyone wants to play as much as possible.

"But I was unlucky with injury in pre-season and I lost out because of it. Now I have to work hard to get myself back in."

He suffered a lot of press criticism, with some newspapers calling him 'fat'. Yet he has shrugged it all aside and is just concentrating on his football. And who knows, if he plays a couple of good games then he could be right back in the picture... So keep your hand's off him Fergie!
