Fantasy Premier League tips: Gameweek 15

The dust has barely settled on Gameweek 14, yet we are already gearing up for another weekend of Fantasy Premier League action.

There are plenty of games to get excited about over the coming days, including a London derby involving West Ham and Chelsea, Ralf Rangnick's first match in charge of Manchester United and an all-Midlands affair between Aston Villa and Leicester City.

The question is, which FPL assets should you be banking on to get the job done. 90min took a look...

1. Reece James (£6.3m)

After missing his side's narrow win over Watford in midweek, Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Reece James will be back in the Chelsea squad for their meeting with West Ham.

James has been one of FPL's standout performers this season, providing a glut of goals and assists from right wing-back.

Many managers turned their backs on the England international last week and it could be time for them to swallow their pride and get him back into defence.

2. Phil Foden (£8.1m)

The stage is set for Phil Foden to return a monster points haul this week.

Rested for his side's win over Aston Villa last time out, Foden will be chomping at the bit to impress as City travel to Vicarage Road to take on Watford.

He has been unplayable at times this season and although this has not always translated into FPL points, that could be set to change on Saturday.

3. Son Heung-min (£10.4m)

Long-term readers of this series will probably be sick of us recommending Son Heung-min every week, but the South Korean just keeps on delivering.

Against Brentford on Thursday he was a class above everyone else on the pitch and things are set to only get better this week with Spurs taking on struggling Norwich.

If Son does not manage at least one goal or an assist in this one, we will be extremely shocked.

4. Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.3m)

Cristiano Ronaldo has not been worth his sizable FPL price tag so far this season but against Arsenal he showed signs that that could be changing.

Ronaldo managed a brace against the Gunners and Rangnick's first press conference as United boss seemed to suggest that he will remain an important player under the German.

With struggling Crystal Palace travelling to Old Trafford on Sunday, CR7 will fancy his chances of adding more goals to his seasonal tally.

5. James Maddison (£6.7m)

It's taken a while but James Maddison is finally back to his best in the Premier League.

Maddison has netted in each of his last three games in all competitions and with Youri Tielemans still out, set pieces are very much his domain again too.

Aston Villa are Leicester's opponents this weekend and while this is a tough contest, on current form Leicester's primary creator could easily take over this game.

6. Trent Alexander-Arnold (£8.0m)

Yes, you have read that right.

Trent Alexander-Arnold's incredible, recent form means he now costs a whopping £8m. He is worth it though, as he has already returned an incredible 90 FPL points this season.

Next on his hit-list is Wolves, and after that the Reds take on Aston Villa and Newcastle. That's a very kind run of games for a player of his immense talent.
