Chelsea had a promising season in 2019/20 following the arrival of new manager and club legend Frank Lampard.
Questions were raised over whether the 42-year-old English manager would be able to guide the Blues to a strong finish due to his inexperience in management, but they ended the campaign in fourth position, with Lampard's faith in younger players paying off.
The likes of Tammy Abraham, Reece James and Mason Mount were all an integral part of Chelsea's squad last season, and have seen their stats upgraded in FIFA 21.
Here's how Chelsea's squad looks in EA Sports' latest game in the FIFA series.
30. Billy Gilmour (71)
FIFA 20 Rating: 64
A big upgrade for the young midfielder, who impressed with some eye-catching performances last season.
29. Danny Drinkwater (73)
FIFA 20 Rating: 77
Drinkwater was sent on two loan spells last season and was not part of Lampard's plans. That hasn't changed this term.
28. Callum Hudson-Odoi (74)
FIFA 20 Rating: 74
A new game but no change in rating for Hudson-Odoi in FIFA 21. Despite interest from Bayern Munich this summer, the Englishman has stayed at Chelsea.
27. Willy Caballero (75)
FIFA 20 Rating: 75
No change in rating for Caballero, who was very much second choice last season.
26. Baba Rahman (75)
FIFA 20 Rating: 74
An increase of +1 for Rahman, who spent last season on loan at RCD Mallorca.
25. Marco van Ginkel (75)
FIFA 20 Rating: 77
A -2 decrease in Van Ginkel's rating this year following another loan spell at PSV Eindhoven.
24. Fikayo Tomori (76)
FIFA 20 Rating: 72
A healthy boost of +4 for Tomori following a campaign which saw him regularly feature for Lampard's side.
23. Reece James (77)
FIFA 20 Rating: 75
A +2 upgrade for the right back in FIFA 21 after an impressive debut campaign in the Chelsea first team.
22. Ruben Loftus-Cheek (78)
FIFA 20 Rating: 79
A -1 decrease for the midfielder who has now been sent on loan to Fulham due to a lack of game time at Chelsea last season.
21. Ross Barkley (78)
FIFA 20 Rating: 79
Barkley has also been sent out on loan this season. The midfielder has headed to Aston Villa and played his part in the shock 7-2 demolition of Liverpool.
20. Tammy Abraham (78)
FIFA 20 Rating: 76
Lampard used Abraham as his first choice striker last season, but has now added Timo Werner to provide competition.
19. Olivier Giroud (79)
FIFA 20 Rating: 80
A -1 decrease in Giroud's stats off the back of a campaign where he was very much second choice, but still scored key goals for Chelsea.
18. Emerson (79)
FIFA 20 Rating: 78
A slight increase for Emerson, who will now be back-up to summer signing Ben Chilwell at left back.
17. Andreas Christensen (79)
FIFA 20 Rating: 80
-1 for Christensen in this year's FIFA, although he has featured in all of Chelsea's opening three Premier League games this season.
16. Edouard Mendy (79)
FIFA 20 Rating: 77
Mendy's +2 increase is evidence of a strong campaign last season, and Chelsea's move to sign him is likely to replace Kepa.
15. Mason Mount (80)
FIFA 20 Rating: 75
A +5 increase for Mount after a promising start to life in the Chelsea first-team. The Englishman will now face competition for a place from summer signing Kai Havertz.
14. Kurt Zouma (80)
FIFA 20 Rating: 80
No difference in Zouma's FIFA rating, but the centre back has scored two goals in three Premier League games so far this season.
13. Ben Chilwell (81)
FIFA 20 Rating: 79
A +2 increase for Chilwell off the back of an impressive 2019/20 campaign with Leicester City, which prompted Chelsea to buy the left back.
12. Antonio Rudiger (81)
FIFA 20 Rating: 82
-1 for the centre back's FIFA rating when compared to FIFA 20. Rudiger was linked with a shock move to Tottenham this summer, but has stayed put.
11. Marcos Alonso (81)
FIFA 20 Rating: 81
No change in Alonso's stats this year. If Emerson is second choice at left back, that's hardly good news for the Spaniard.
10. Christian Pulisic (81)
FIFA 20 Rating: 79
A +2 increase for Pulisic this year, who ended the previous campaign in great form.
9. Kepa Arrizabalaga (82)
FIFA 20 Rating: 84
Kepa's ranking has seen a -2 decrease this year, with the out of form Spaniard now likely to be phased out of the team by Mendy's arrival.
8. Mateo Kovacic (83)
FIFA 20 Rating: 82
A slight increase for Kovacic following an impressive campaign last term. Many Chelsea fans had the midfielder as their player of the season.
7. Jorginho (83)
FIFA 20 Rating: 83
No movement in Jorginho's FIFA rating this year. The penalty maestro has remained at the club despite reported interest from Arsenal.
6. Cesar Azpilicueta (84)
FIFA 20 Rating: 84
There's also no change in Azpilicueta's FIFA rating this year. The defender's ability to play anywhere across the back four has helped him get minutes.
5. Thiago Silva (85)
FIFA 20 Rating: 87
A -2 decrease for the 36-year-old after a campaign which saw him captain PSG to the Champions League final, but fell to defeat against Bayern.
4. Timo Werner (85)
FIFA 20 Rating: 83
Werner's goals for RB Leipzig in the Champions League last season had a host of clubs interested in signing the striker, but Chelsea came out on top.
3. Hakim Ziyech (85)
FIFA 20 Rating: 85
No change in Ziyech's FIFA rating when compared to FIFA 20. Chelsea fans can't wait to see the Moroccan once he's recovered from injury.
2. Kai Havertz (85)
FIFA 20 Rating: 84
A slight increase for Havertz this year following another impressive campaign for Bayer Leverkusen which caused Chelsea to splash £72m on him this summer.
1. N'Golo Kante (88)
FIFA 20 Rating: 89
A -1 decrease for Kante when compared to FIFA 20. The midfielder, however, is still Chelsea's highest-rated player on the game.
