FIFA 21: The Best Under-21 XI in Ultimate Team

Every year, seeing the highest-rated Under-21 players is one of the most exciting things about a new FIFA game. It's great seeing how some players have grown and who still looks destined for greatness.

FIFA 21 Ultimate Team comes with a whole host of talented youngsters, but only 11 can make it into the dream team.

Here's who makes the cut.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Gianluigi Donnarumma (GK) - 85 - AC Milan wonderkid Donnarumma continues his reign of dominance as one of Europe's elite goalkeepers. Somehow, he's still only 21.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB) - 87 - Now one of the best players on the game, Liverpool's Alexander-Arnold looks like he'll be a whole lot of fun to play with. Crosses for days.

Matthijs de Ligt (CB) - 85 - Retaining his 85 rating from last year is De Ligt, who has been handed a nice little boost to his pace, which now sits at 72.

Dayot Upamecano (CB) - 79 - Everyone wants Upamecano in their team in both Ultimate Team and real life. He's always one of the most overpowered cards available and stands to get better as the years go by.

Alphonso Davies (LB) - 81 - No surprises here. Davies' +9 upgrade was one of the biggest handed out this year, and you can't say it wasn't deserved.

2. Midfielders

Martin Ødegaard (CAM) - 83 - After his excellent season on loan with Real Sociedad, Norwegian starlet Ødegaard will be hoping to become one of Real Madrid's top stars.

Kai Havertz (CAM) - 85 - Chelsea spent all summer pursuing Havertz and had to make him the most expensive German player of all time to bring him to Stamford Bridge. Big things are expected.

Jadon Sancho (RM) - 87 - Sancho is one of the world's finest wingers, so his place in this team should come as no surprise. He hit 20 goals and 20 assists in all competitions, and that's why he's 87-rated.

3. Forwards

João Félix (CF) - 81 - Atlético Madrid's record signing had a solid debut season at the Wanda Metropolitano, but will be hoping to reach new heights in 2020/21.

Erling Haaland (ST) - 84 - We all know about Haaland by now. He took Europe by storm with Red Bull Salzburg and has since continued his goalscoring with Borussia Dortmund. He's one of the best around.

Kylian Mbappé (ST) - 90 - If we're talking about the best around, let's not forget about Mbappé. The PSG man sits at a whopping 90 overall and comes with 96 pace, 91 dribbling and 86 shooting. Wow.
