Geremi Suspended

Geremi was shown a straight red card by Rob Styles for a two footed challenge on Riccardo Scimeca. Despite a lack of malice on Geremi's part, and the fact that he clearly took the ball, Chelsea will not be making any appeal.

I suppose when you have the likes of Claude Makelele, Manu Petit and Joe Cole waiting in the wings there's no need to appeal against the red card!

Chelsea's discipline so far this season has been first class, with Frank Lampard the only player to receive a yellow card.
