Two goal hero Pedro Had the best game of his fledgling Chelsea career when he scored a brace against Newcastle United and interim boss Guus Hiddink is delighted with the Spain midfielder.
"He is so hard working - he knows what to do defensively," said the Dutchman.
"He is covering the spaces. But also I'm very pleased he scored his goals.
"Everyone knows we have players of quality, but now they are convinced that they can take on what I call the responsible work. That's not the nicest work for big players who have great quality, but they know they have to work hard defensively, as nowadays the teams are so competitive, you cannot afford to have players not taking defensive responsibility and just rely on their quality."
