Jimmy is held in high regard in Spain after scoring 24 times in 34 games during his one year stay at Atletico Madrid.
He was heavily linked with a move to Barcelona last summer, but that move failed to come of anything. Jimmy went on to have, certainly by his standards, a poor season.
Yet that hasn't deterred Betis coach Victor Fernandez. He said "We need a goalscorer. Jimmy knows the language and the Spanish league. I'm sure he will come to Seville if we can arrange the financial terms of the deal."
I know he had a poor season, but I think that Jimmy Floyd still has plenty to offer Chelsea. I for one would like to see him given at least a chance this season...
