Jimmy Slams Claudio

Sellout!
After a comfortable 2-0 win over Aston Villa yesterday, Chelsea moved up to second place and will be no lower than third come Christmas Day.

So why has Jimmy launched an attacker on Ranieri? Me thinks he is still pining after a move to Barcelona. Funnily enough though, in the summer, no one outside of Chelsea would have batted an eye lid should he have decided to join Barcelona. After all, they were serious title contenders and we were considered as no better than mid-table by certain sections of the media. But boy have the tables turned. With Chelsea pushing for the Premiership, Barcelona are languishing in mid table in La Liga!

So what exactly did Jimmy say, I hear you ask. In an exclusive interview with the News Of The World, JFH said, "I know Claudio very well. I have worked with him for quite a few years. When he doesn't like you it is over. He is very hard and cold. Right now I'm just waiting to see what will happen.

"I was an 'untouchable' at Chelsea but I have lost that status because Ranieri has left me out of the team a few times this season. And everyone knows that my summer flirtation with Barcelona is the reason for that. Ranieri didn't like it that Barcelona were interested in me and that I was interested in Barcelona.

"But it wasn't because I wanted to leave but because Chelsea needed the money and wanted to sell me. In every newspaper there were stories about the financial problems of the club and I understand why Chelsea would agree for me to go to Barcelona - but at that very moment the European transfer market collapsed.

"There were no sales anywhere and that was the reason I had to stay at Chelsea. From that moment Claudio put me out of the team or substituted me at half-time. Not because I played less well than before - in my opinion I played better - but because he thought my brains were in Barcelona. That was rubbish.

"I didn't like that argument at all. I'm a professional and I always play to win."

How on earth can Jimmy say he was playing better at the start of this season? He looked a shade of his usual self and his only goal in the early part of the season was a penalty against West Ham! I wonder if Jimmy will stand by that claim when he realises how piss-poor he really was at the start of the season.

Hasselbaink went on to say, "if a really big club comes in I will think about it. But not many clubs will give me more than Chelsea at the moment.

"And Claudio will need me, I tell you that. He will need my goals.

"I don't want to leave Chelsea at all. This is a great club but it is at an important crossroads.

"Do they want to stay a sub-top team in England or do they want to go with Arsenal and Manchester United to become a really top team?"

Well Jimmy, everyone at the club is working to get the club as high up the Premiership as possible. Yet you seem to be trying to do your utmost to ruin the spirit in the camp.

JFH is a hero of mine but he has just gone right down in my estimations. With Chelsea playing so well, what was the point in rocking the boat. He claims that he wants to win trophies at the club, yet he has a funny way of showing that.

So shut it Jimmy!
