Joe Cole could be fit to face Liverpool on Sunday.
Coley has been missing from the Chelsea starting line-up and England for several weeks now.
But speaking just before kick-off at last night's Champions League match against Roma, Cole revealed he could be ready to don the blue shirt of Chelsea very soon.
"It's just one of those injuries," said Cole.
"But I could be back in two days or it could be six - we will just have to wait and see."
If Joe is available in two days, it's possible he could just sneak his way back into the side for Liverpool's visit to the Bridge on Sunday lunchtime.
The way is open for him as Florent Malouda produced another of his frustrating ineffective performaces against the Italians on Wednesday night - prompting Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari to ditch the French winger at half-time.
Cole would be seen as a natural replacement.
If Cole does not feature on Sunday, then he will almost certainly be in line for a call-up in the away Premier League gainst against Hull City on Wednesday.
