Okay, we all saw Jose on TV sulking and storming off after last night's Champion League win.
I was there and actually saw it.
Jose was well and truly caught out regarding Lampard and the penalty. As a result his temper got the better of him and he huffed and puffed and left the arena.
Now Jose is a clever boy. When he has the time, he can maniuplate the media and players alike.
He backed himself into a wall on Saturday following Lamp's penalty miss.
Jose said that at the next penalty, the players involved, Lamps, Ballack and Seva will decide, on the pitch, who is the best person to take it, but Jose was: "100 per cent behind Lamps".
Last night however, Jose admitted that Lampard would not take the spot kick - it was a "crucial" penalty. Chelsea were afterall only 1-0 up and struggling. So up pops Ballack and smashes the ball home.
Lamps also did not take a free-kick just outside the penalty area, Sheva did.
All this, quite rightly gave the journs the chance to grill Jose about Lamps.
Realising he had been inconsistent between words and actions, Jose went on the offensive and ended the press conference prematurely.
