Jose has night off

Jose Mourinho blanked the post-match press conference last night, sending in number two Steve Clarke instead.

It would have been nice to hear what Jose had to say about the Chelsea performace, in particular since it took him ever so close to the Premieship title.
Chelsea need 17 points from their remaining nine league games to secure their first title in 50 years.

But such has been the blacklash from his recent comments that Jose, decided to back away from answering questions from awaiting hacks.

Clarkey is a nice guy but is hardly going to illluminate on tactics and give personal views on players, teams and management - the sort of things supporters really like to know.

It's a shame really because now I can't report anything to you guys and gals.

The Stalinist controlled regime that Chelsea have become might very well have decided that yesterday was a quote too far for their manager and they decided to rein him in.

At a time when Chelsea are arrowing towards greatness on the pitch, it's a shame that the senior communication team are still behaving like an clapped out control-freaked bunch off the pitch.

Roll on Saturday, come back Jose.
