John Terry met with cops on Friday to discuss the ongoing 'race hate' allegations.
The incident relates to the QPR v Chelsea match on October 30, where a conversation is alleged to have occured between Terry and QPR defender Anton Ferdinand.
The FA will conclude their investigation into the matter a soon as the police have done theirs.
Terry picked up a yellow card, his fifth of the season on Saturday in the 3-0 win over Wolves.
He thus misses tonight's Carling Cup game v Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
He was expected to be rested for the game anyhow.
