Juventus and Inter are thought to be interested in signing Conor Gallagher, having sent scouts to watch Crystal Palace's 0-0 draw with Premier League champions Manchester City.
Gallagher has enjoyed a fantastic loan spell at Selhurst Park this season, scoring eight goals and earning a first England call-up.
He continued that fine form on Monday night and was instrumental in Palace's impressive 0-0 draw with title-chasing City. The young midfielder harassed City's talented midfield trio of Keven De Bruyne, Rodri and Bernardo Silva all evening, keeping them relatively quiet throughout the 90 minutes.
According to The Sun, both Inter and Juventus were in attendance to see Gallagher's impressive performance, having sent scouts to watch the midfielder.
Whether or not this scouting will turn into any substantial offer or interest, however, remains to be seen.
The midfielder is on loan from Chelsea this season and looks all set to re-join his parent club this summer to become a key member of their squad.
It is unlikely that the Blues would be keen to negotiate any permanent exit for Gallagher as, due to the current sanctions imposed on the club by the British government, Chelsea will be unable to sign a replacement for the midfielder.
That transfer embargo is likely to be lifted once Roman Abramovich is no longer associated with Chelsea, with several billion pound bids already submitted to buy the club.
