The offical blurb from the FA reads: "Kezman was sent off for violent conduct in the pre-season friendly against Roma played on July 29 in the USA, and the FA have now received the referee's report from the US Soccer Federation.

"Pre-season friendlies are not subject to the fast-track system to be introduced for competitive matches this season, and as a result the suspension starts 14 days on from receipt of the official report."

Chelsea issued a statment on their website revealing that they feel the situation is the same as three days ago- that Kez served his suspension by missing the final game of our US tour. Looks like we could be on course for a collision with the FA...
