Make it a Blue day

Last updated : 05 May 2005 By Paul Lagan
Whatever the rights or wrongs on Tuesday night - was it over the line or not? The simple fact is that Chelsea will not be contesting the Champions League final on May 25.
Anyhow, the hassle of getting there was becoming more awkward by the day.
Next season we can all take the Eurostar and head for Paris.
Jose Mourinho is already planning for next season and revealed he is only after TWO new players
So if Jose is planning ahead, so should we.
Saturday is the day for giving the boys the plaudits they deserve.
Kick off is 12.30, 15 minutes earlier than billed - to allow for the Premiership trophy to be presented and for Sky TV to beam it live around the world.
With a new contract worth £5m a year, Jose can now relax and prepare his side's future in the knowledge that there is no need for any personal contract distractions.
Under Mourinho:
The title is won - objective achieved - new objective to be retained.
Carling cup won - objective achieved - new objective to be retained.
FA Cup - objective - to be achieved
Champions League - to be achieved
Super Cup - to be achieved
Those are the targets for next season.

I can hardly wait.
