Marcel Praises JT

JT has been superb for Chelsea this season, leading the line for most of the season in Marcel's absence. He is likely to be made permanent captain this summer, with Marcel expected to leave the club after 6 years of excellent service.

Marcel said "I am really happy to see John Terry at the level he is at now.

"When he first played alongside me he was very motivated, and perhaps he had to raise his level because he was playing alongside me. Now, though, he is maybe better than me, but I am happy about that. I am not jealous; I am just pleased that he is going to take the club forwards."

I wonder how pleased Marcel will be come June 13th- when England face France in Euro 2004!
