Most exciting Premier League season is on the cards

One thing the Premier League has over rival European leagues at present is its competitiveness

You can probably guarantee winning if you bet on a treble of Paris Saint- Germain, Bayern Munich and Juventus winning their respective championships.

Even in Spain you can narrow it down to probably Barcelona taking the title or perhaps Real Madrid sneaking it over their eternal rivals

We all know they will both be fighting for the honours at the end of May

An outside bet would be Atletico Madrid, who have made La Liga a three horse race of late.

This non-competitiveness in the other big leagues makes them less interesting to watch or follow

Serie A last year looked like it was going to go to the wire with a Napoli, Inter, Roma and Fiorentina fighting for the Scudetto after JuventusÂ’ very poor start to the season. However, after Christmas JuveÂ’s form changed and they eventually won their fourth title in a row by nine points

The Premier League on the other hand was a complete surprise as the big boys all had disappointing seasons and Leicester City, a club who survived relegation on the last day the previous year, won their first ever title beating off Tottenham Hotspurs in the last couple of weeks and the Foxes eventually won it over Arsenal with a ten point gap

This Premier League season looks to be by far the most competitive with the big boys Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea having hired the best coaches in world football to pry the title away from the King Power stadium.

The most successful team in the land Manchester United have employed Jose Mourinho, a coach who guarantees trophies, and added great signings Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Paul Pogba, for a reported £89m, 3 to an already expensive squad.

Pogba will be a world record signing, the last five have been signed by Real Madrid, who in four seasons in Turin won four league titles 4 and helped France reach the Euro 2016 final, and will add teeth to their midfield for the first time in a few seasons.

Manchester City have pulled off a coup in putting the brilliant Pep Guardiola at the helm

The Spaniard has won everything in club football despite his first season as a first team coach being 200809

His Barca side became the first Spanish club to win the domestic cup, the league, and the Champions League (the treble) in the same season

The club's finest seasons in its history and Guardiola became the youngest man to coach a Champions League winning team.

Cheslea have appointed former Juve and Italy coach Antonio Conte and with his style of management they are guaranteed to be fighting fit and ready to compete

They have also added to their strong squad with Michy Batshuayi from Marseille for £33.2m and N'Golo Kante from Leicester for£32m.

Arsenal also look a strong contender, their main signing so far is Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach for £34m and they hope to add to a squad with Alexis Sanchez, Ozil, Ramsey, Walcott and Danny Wellbeck

If they can go injury free they can push for honours.

Liverpool will have a full season under the great Jurgen Klopp and are bound to improve on last yearÂ’s two runners up medals

They have hired two big talents in Dutch man Georginio Wijnaldum from Newcastle for £25m and a proven Premier League striker in Sadio Mane from Southampton for £36m

The Kop side are flying in confidence as Mane scored as they won 4-0 against a Barcelona side containing Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi in the International Champions Cup at Wembley.

Leicester will be tough to beat under Ranieri despite losing Kante

They have kept the majority of their squad and added several players

Whether they can compete this season is a big question

Although I am looking forward to seeing how European sides deal with their counter attacking style in the Champions League.

Tottenham seem to be getting stronger and stronger each season under Pochettino

They have bought wisely with the tough midfielder Victor Wanyama from Southampton for £11m and added fire power with Vincent Janssen from AZ Alkmaar for £18.6m, he scored 27 goals for AZ and was awarded the 2016 Johan Cruyff Trophy, the Dutch "Talent of the Year" award.

It is going to be a great season from the start to the finish in May

With all the money in the league now donÂ’t be surprised if there are other sides competing at the top of the table

West Ham, Everton, Stoke and Southampton are all capable of beating anyone on their day and putting a run together

And one thing we learned from Leicester last season was donÂ’t write anyone off

But it is going to great with all sorts of drama and chaos

Enjoy.
