Mutu's Coke Denial

The Mutu saga threatens to drag on and on as a new revelation seems to appear every day. Today, the revelation is that Mutu did not take cocaine. Yes, that is despite a PFA statement earlier in the week claiming that Mutu had told them it was cocaine he tested positive for.

But the Romanian star has been on TV shows back in his homeland to set the record straight. He said: "I am not hooked on drugs. I categorically deny this.

"The only reason I took what I took was because I wanted to improve my sexual performance.

"It may be funny but it is true. I did not take cocaine. I took something to make me feel good."

His problems are clearly worse than we all feared. However, Mutu flew back to London yesterday for meetings with the club and the PFA. He is also set to undergo rehab as of today in a bid to kick his non existent drug habit.
