Parker revealed "I think we all feel we can get back into it against Monaco. We let ourselves down badly in the second half but we have the squad and the belief that we can get a result at Stamford Bridge.
"I don't think what has been happening with Mr Ranieri has unsettled the team. We read the papers and see what's written but we are all under pressure, that comes with being at Chelsea.
"Everyone loves him. He's well respected and has gone about his job with dignity. He's a fine man. There is not a day goes by when you don't read different things in the papers about this player signing or that one. There's always something about Mr Abramovich.
"I can't comment on whether I think he will be manager next season. That's not down to me. I'm a Chelsea player and that's it."
Many say that Parker has gone downhill since leaving Charlton... playing against Arsenal in the Champions League, facing Monaco in a Champions League semi final and competing for the league title- really sounds like he has let himself go doesn't it??
