Premier League goals of the week - Gameweek 32

Gameweek 32 of the 2021/22 Premier League season threw up plenty of shocks, spills and most importantly, cracking goals.

29 strikes found the back of the net over the weekend, and we've picked our favourite six for you to fawn over some more.

Here's a look at the best Premier League goals of the week...

1. Enock Mwepu vs Arsenal

We start with Brighton's trip to Arsenal in one of Saturday's 3pm kick-offs.

The Seagulls ran out 2-1 winners at the Emirates Stadium, opening the scoring through a lovely Leandro Trossard strike that is probably also deserving of a place on this list (but we're trying to be fair, so there'll be one goal per game).

Enock Mwepu put in a fine all-round performance and was rewarded with a goal at the end of a scintillating Brighton move, firing a half-volley past the helpless Aaron Ramsdale to effectively seal the three points.

2. Mason Mount vs Southampton

Picking just one goal from Chelsea's 6-0 win at Southampton was tough, though the Saints' schoolboy defending allowed us to narrow the shortlist down to the Blues' first two of the afternoon.

Marcos Alonso was teed up by Mason Mount to lash past Fraser Forster early on, but we've gone with the midfielder's own strike, bringing a loose ball under control before finding the net from 20 yards out.

3. Raphinha vs Watford

It would take a monumental collapse for Leeds to be relegated now after a resounding 3-0 win at Watford, with Brazil star Raphinha opening the scoring at Vicarage Road.

The Hornets failed to deal with a high Dan James pass which allowed the Welshman to instantly win back possession, with the ball falling to Raphinha to quickly set himself on the spot and curl one past the outstretched Ben Foster.

4. Son Heung-min vs Aston Villa

All four of Tottenham's goals at Aston Villa could be dissected to death and have a shout of being the best of this weekend's offerings. But again, fairness to everyone, you only get one entry.

Son Heung-min bagged a hat-trick and his first of the evening was the most impressive, smashing a weak-footed half-volley in off the inside of Emiliano Martinez's post to give Spurs a third-minute lead.

5. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall vs Crystal Palace

It was the Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall show at the King Power Stadium as Leicester downed FA Cup semi-finalists Crystal Palace.

The midfielder slipped through Ademola Lookman to open the scoring and doubled their advantage himself with a neat swivel to take the ball onto his stronger left foot from a Patson Daka cut-back which was helped on by James Maddison, though he was well marshalled by Cheikhou Kouyate.

And yet that didn't stop the 23-year-old from creating an inch of separation and picking out the top corner of Vicente Guaita's net.

6. Sadio Mane vs Man City

A quick shoutout to Riyad Mahrez who would have secured this final spot on the list had his 94th minute dink over Alisson not sailed 15 yards over the bar. Next time, just whip out your trademark curler.

Instead, our pick of the action from Man City and Liverpool's title showdown (which obviously ended in a draw) is birthday boy Sadio Mane's leveller less than a minute after half-time.

The Reds went into the break 2-1 down and by far second-best, with Mane and Mohamed Salah in particular failing to get going.

But the two combined excellently following the restart, with the Egyptian slicing the City defence in half to release Mane, who timed his run to perfection and emphatically finished beyond Ederson.
