When not searching the planet for a new manager, chief executive Peter Kenyon is putting the final touches to the boys' pre-season tour of China.
The first match tales place in Guangzhou on July 23, swiftly followed by a trip to Macau to play Chinese outfit Chengdu Blades on July 26.
The tour ends in Kuala Lumpur on July 29 against a Malaysian Select XI.
Then it's off for another, more testing set of matches in a tournament called the Railways Cup, in Moscow from August 1-3 with Lokomotiv Moscow, AC Milan and Sevilla taking part.
Phew! Let's hope all that meeting and greeting and global branding of Chelsea does not tire the poor things out before they get back to playing their bread and butter matches of the Premier League.
