Ranieri To Stay? No Way, Jose!

Wednesday was possibly the biggest day of Mourinho's career, after guiding his FC Porto side to victory in the Champions League Final. But he left the celebrations early to speak to the press, revealing that he is leaving Porto this summer... with England being his preferred destination.

And within hours of that claim, he told the Portugese media that he has been approached to join Chelsea, an offer which he would accept: "I have some offers in my wallet, but one which I very much want to accept, which is that from Chelsea."

Earlier in the evening, Peter Kenyon spoke with Sky Sports. He spoke as though Claudio Ranieri was already out the door, refusing to answer any questions directly. When questioned about whether or not he had approached Didier Deschamps or Jose Mourinho, Kenyon replied "I'm not going to add to speculation by saying yes or no...". By giving such a stupid answer, Kenyon has added to the speculation.

Poor Claudio. Still, if he does get the boot, at least he won't have to work with Kenyon any more!
