The Portuguse centre-back has succesfully come through a tough fitness this week and could even link up again with John Terry in the centre of tghe defence.
Terry, who pulled out of the midweek England international has recovered from his knee injury.
Didier Drogba is doubtful as is Wayne Bridge.
