Rivaldo, currently out of contract, has admitted a desire to play in the English Premiership, but has denied already holding talks with free spending Chelsea.
Rivaldo rejected an offer from Spurs in July 2002, to join AC Milan. However, he spent more time on the bench counting his money than on the pitch earning it.
Rivaldo will appear at Leicester City's Walkers Stadium on Sunday, and hopes to impress wathing English managers. He will be playing for homeland Brazil against Jamacia.
Speaking through an interpreter, Rivaldo said: "Every time I play for my national team I try to play my best football and this will be the case on Sunday.
"And it also gives me a chance to show my football to whoever in England would be interested in Rivaldo.
"It's not a very good time for me, I'm not playing many matches.
"I was ready to leave Milan but the president and the supporters asked me to stay so I did and now I'm waiting for an opportunity to show my best, that's what I'm hoping for.
"But the stories which were published here in England about me and Chelsea were untrue.
"I never gave any interviews regarding Chelsea and I never talked to anybody at Chelsea.
"But if my situation has not changed in Milan by December, I would consider at an English club."
