Chelsea's reserve team boss Brendan Rodgers is believed to be the shock choice to take charge of Championship side Leicester City.
The Foxes axed their manager Martin Allen last night after just a three-month spell with "differeing visions for the club" cited as the reason.
Rodgers - is a hightly-respected coach and was appointed to the reserves in the summer of 2006 after a spell as youth team coach.
He came to Stamford Bridge from the academy manager's job at Reading where the Irishman was a player before injury ended his career.
