Roman Abramovich has received a number of 'serious' offers to buy Chelsea just one day after declaring that he intended to sell the club.
The Russian has come under scrutiny for his close ties to Vladimir Putin amid the invasion of Ukraine and there have been calls for him to be sanctioned by the UK government.
After nearly two decades in charge at Stamford Bridge, Abramovich is now looking to sell the club, and the PA news agency report that he has received several bids of around £3bn.
They add that Chelsea are still open to new bids and will review all offers once received.
Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss has partnered with Los Angeles Dodgers part-owner Todd Boehly to form a consortium in an attempt to buy Chelsea, though the Telegraph report that their imminent bid will barely hit the £2bn mark.
They are not alone in the race to purchase the west London club and would likely need to up their bid for it to be considered by Abramovich.
