Roman and Guus danced together in victory

Guus Hiddink signed off his time as Chelsea boss by break dancing with Didier Drogba in the Wembley changing room.

He confessed that was the reason why he was late for his post-match press conference.

"We have a multinational squad and we were having a dance party," the Dutchman chortled.

"In my mind I was producing a wonderful African dance with my old body, but the reality might have been something different."

But Hiddink soon reverted to the old theme of injustice.

"It would have been the perfect day had we being playing Manchester United in the Champions League this week.

"But this club has to win silverware every season.

"I worked very directly with the players from day one.

"We have had setback but we have overcome them, so I would like to thank my staff, players and the fans."

Hiddink then admitted that he did not see Everton's record-breaking 25-second goal.

"There were security people and TV people setting up beside me. I did not see it.

Burt we reacted well, with pace which was difficult because of the hot conditions.

"But we did it with style and the two goals were class - we attacked their right side and it worked.

"When Drogba got the equaliser it gave me a beautiful feeling.

"Lampard's goal was typical of him - he knew he needed a perfect shot with pace to beat the goalkeeper."

Hiddink reiterated earlier comments about being sad to leave Chelsea to return to the Russian national job.

"All the players acted professionally - even those I put on the bench," he said.

"Had we not won something, I would have felt unsatisfied - but I can say goodbye with a cup.

"The changing room was emotional. I want to speak to the players for five minutes to tell them a few things.

"But there are times when speech is not needed. Their body language to me tells me that."

Hiddink then went on to talk about the Chelsea he is leaving behind.

"Chelsea needs stability," he said.

"The club recognises that too - it is key for the club.

"They need a short but also long-term strategy to develop them further."

Of his influence on players, Hiddink cited Florent Malouda for praise.

"Malouda is a player who has reacted well, I like that.

"I tried to work with him and judge what he really can give to the team. He needed to be convinced of that. He put in high-quality performances and it resulted with a return to the French national side."

He said that as long as he is fit enough he might continue in club management somewhere.

"I won't promise what I will do. What I can say is that I am going to see my old father and I might rob the FA Cup and bring it with me."

.

He concluded that arch conspirator in the dancing was none other than Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

"He danced with us too," said Hiddink.

"Roman is not a man of too many words but there are beautiful pictures to be published."

I'm sure there are.
