Chelsea's official website confirmed the bizzare formation which they describe as 4-3-3.
They said: "Michael Essien will be given a run-out at left-back and Joe Cole will begin his first game of the pre-season.
"Wayne Bridge also starts at left-back and as in the previous game.... etc etc"
The team is Cech, Essien, Carvalho, Terry, Bridge, Deco, Mikel, Lampard, SWP, Anelka and Joe Cole.
I'm no Alex Ferguson let alone the manager of the Malay team, but I suspect that if I was I might want to target Chelsea's right flank.
