Seba's In For Some Stick

Seba has been the talisman of this Argentina side for a good 6 or 7 years.

His performances, give or take the odd few, have pretty much been of the highest standards. Unfortunately, that odd few poor games came during last year's World Cup- when the Argies were humiliated on their way to a first round exit.

But why was Seba only singled out? It's not as if he was the worst player, let alone the only player to have a poor tournament.

But the fans have their minds made up- Seba is the enemy now! He was booed and whistled throughout Argentina's 2-2 draw with Chile in Buenos Aires. All this despite playing an absolute blinder.

Seba, forced to play in a holding role, led the team to a 2-1 lead. However, despite his best efforts, he was substituted half way through the second half. Argentina lost their grip on the game and the rest, as they say, is history! 2-2 was the final score, and Seba got more boo's as he and his teammates left the ground.

Don't worry Seba- you'll always be appreciated in West London...
